Call for Project Proposals Value Chain Platform 2023 - 2025

DGB Bildungswerk BUND – North-South-Network is looking for project proposals for the funding period 2023 – 2025. Projects are funded that focus on labour and trade union rights in the context of global or regional value chains and digitalised work like platform economy, gig work etc. 

The trade union development cooperation of the North-South Network within DGB Bildungswerk BUND (DGB BW) aims at the implementation of political, economic and social human rights, decent work for all, fostering of democracy and gender equality at work and in society for sustainable economic and social development minimizing existing inequality.



To that avail, the North-South Network supports the development and consolidation of strong, democratic, politically and financially independent trade unions and organisations defending the interests and rights of the working people. For the funding of projects in the global South, DGB BW receives public funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).     

Within this call for proposals, projects are funded that focus on labour and trade union rights in global or regional value chains and in new forms of digitalised work like platform economy, gig work etc.
